Chief Minister Green Tractor Scheme

The Chief Minister Green Tractor Scheme is an innovative program launched by the حکومت پنجاب to enhance the agricultural sector. It provides subsidies of up to PKR 1 million for the purchase of tractors which helps small and medium farmers to enhance productivity and reduce the need for manual labor. The Scheme’s transparency is praiseworthy as the beneficiaries are selected through a digital balloting system.

The first phase is expected to allocate over 9,000 tractors by March 2025. It is expected that the program will improve crop production, reduce post-harvest losses, and support the tractor manufacturing industry in the region.
